Yet another great episode, and this one was a tear jerker.  I didn’t cry, of course, being the rock that I am, but Leah was balling.  To clear something up that I hear people are confused about: Jin and Sun had separate flashes.  Sun was a flash forward and Jin was a flashback.  I had a strong feeling something was going to happen to Jin, and that only one of them would make it off ok.  I’m still not sold on Jin being one of the 6, but we’ll see.  I know that the preview said that we were getting the remaining members, but I’m not sold that Jin is one of them.

So what were your thoughts?

I left an incredibly erudite composition ;) on Friday that somehow did NOT show up in the comments. I can’t guarantee the reattempt will prove as brilliant…

Well, I guess the spy was Michael after all. Now the question is, will he be considered one of the “Oceanic 6″ in the future? Or did they count Aaron as one of the survivors, even though he was not originally on the manifest? I STILL like Laurie’s idea and have not ruled out the possibility of Ben being able to time travel at will. From Desmond’s experience it appears that happens only with the consciousness, while the body remains where it is.

That handshake between Michael and Sayid seemed significant…lingering, close-up shot and all. Is it the beginning of Sayid turning to Ben’s “dark side”?

I’m unclear about what the doctor meant when he was showing Desmond & Sayid their less than savory room. He said it was on the “quiet side” of the ship…Desmond (?) commented, “But we’re not moving.” and the Doctor answered, “If you say so.” Hmmmm. Ideas?

Oh yeah…and they TOTALLY fooled me on the two different time lines of Sun and Jin. I never saw it coming. It was an absolute “gotcha”! sniff…sniff…

Well that clears things up – the flash foward and the flash back. that totally confused me. I was thinking they were showing how Jin turned back to what he was once they got off the island.
I wasn’t really crying – until the baby was born of course. I cry anytime they show a baby being born now- even if it is super cheesy and the so called newborn is 2 months old with dry hair.

The hand shake thing was just significant b/c Sayid was just pretending that he didnt’ know Michael as to not blow his cover. In many ways we see the losts and Ben joining forces against the ship people- that’s been developing for weeks.
